Wat Prasat Muang (Buriram)

Prasat Muang Tam is an 11th century Khmer temple located in Buriram province, Thailand.

It is located not far from the Prasat Phnom Rung, and only a few steps from Cambodia.

The site of Prasat Muang Tam, is part of the former Khmer empire that began in Angkor, Cambodia.

Somewhat overshadowed by the Prasat Phanom Rung (located less than 8 km away) this temple is a quite impressive place that deserves to be visited.

The park contains some of the best examples of Khmer architecture in the world and highlights that this area was once an important trade route to the Khmer kingdom.
